"Senator Obama, true to form, made a lot of statements tonight that were crafted cynically to appeal to heartland America instead of his radical liberal constituency. This time it was about appointments he would make to the Supreme Court. Obama claims that he would not apply a litmus test for Justices on abortion, but when he talks to his usual pro-abortion constituency he makes quite clear that indeed he does have a pro-abortion litmus test for the Supreme Court. Obama wants to use the Court to make sure that Americans never have a chance to place any reasonable regulation on abortion, because he is the most radical pro-abortion activist in the U.S. Senate. John McCain has made plain he has no litmus test on any issue for the Supreme Court, but that he opposes all of the liberal activist Court's legislating from the bench and undermining democracy, on abortion or any other issue."
"Obama also complained that JCN's ads made 'tough accusations' about Obama's long and close ties with anti-American radicals and terrorists such as Bill Ayers and Jeremiah Wright. But he didn't refute any of the facts about these close associations, which reveal Obama to be a bad judge of character in others, and also tell us something about his own beliefs, when he is comfortable associating with those who preach anti-American hatred and practice domestic terrorism. Obama cannot refute these facts and so he raised straw men, like being 8 years old when Bill Ayers bombed American targets. Obama was not 8 years old when he launched his political career in Ayers's living room or when Ayers stomped on the American flag in Chicago, or when Ayers told the New York Times on September 11, 2001 that he had not done enough in bombing America."
